It is a tough life being an FPL Manager, isn’t it?
Kane was once again King with a hand in all four goals and Bale began to look like the sort of player of FPL old. Plenty saw the Manchester derby going the other way and were left scratching their heads as Shaw racked up 14 points but was locked in on the bench and shedding a tear after letting Bruno go only to see him notch (another) penalty. The City midfield roulette spun once again with Mahrez, KdB and Foden (starting a game for once) racking up the points and the Sterling owners thinking once again why haven’t we sold him. JWP owners will no doubt be happy too and Cresswell and Dawson continue to register goals and assists as the West Ham side continue to march on the top 4.
With the exception of the deadline being Friday night, we are in for a more traditional weekend of football with just the ten games on the cards. A North London derby on Sunday (with both featuring in Europe on Thursday) will no doubt be an intriguing watch, perhaps Liverpool’s fall from grace is about to be reversed.

Vice – Sterling
Bruno – TSB ~ 57.2% – West Ham
Another 10 points last week against top-level opposition. Despite the blank the following week there is a new wave of owners all flocking to Bruno. Seems to hoover up the BPS when he scores at the moment and with Rashford/Pogba missing he will be more vital than ever.
West Ham are quite high up in the form tables of late and there will be extra impetus from Moyes to motivate the Hammers in order to get a result against his old employers.
This ought to be a good game but even though United play in Europe on Thursday, they should have enough in the tank for Sunday’s game and I expect both teams to score but Bruno to be involved throughout.
Kane -TSB ~ 38% – ARS
Kane usurped Bale this week and Son was largely anonymous last week. The momentum is building for the England striker as the NLD comes around with Arsenal’s form being so hot/cold at the moment it’s quite likely that Spurs will have the opportunity to win here and make a statement as they look to get back towards the top 4 again.
The added bonus of penalties, plus scoring and assisting in open play with a bit of swagger of late certainly add to the eye test. You factor in Kane’s knack of scoring against London clubs too and with Arsenal’s propensity for conceding early, this makes for a pretty compelling pick for the armband.
Arsenal will no doubt be up for this and want to win, but tactically I imagine Spurs getting this one right with Kane being the man of the moment.
Jota – TSB ~ 3.2% – WOL
Back after a long injury and Liverpool looked like their old selves in the midweek performance against Atlanta. Wolves defensively haven’t been strong of late and this is a good opportunity to remind everyone that they did indeed win last season.
Whilst Salah will be the go-to pick, Jota represents the value and freshness Liverpool have missed over the past gameweeks. Salah does have penalties in his locker but you get the sense Jota will be keen to impress now that he is back in the squad.
Havertz ~ 8.2% – LEE
With a pair of assists and spending most of his time at the top end of the Chelsea formation, Leeds will face a rejuvenated Kai Havertz this weekend. Leeds have been enjoyable to watch this year but still find themselves in the bottom half of the PL. Chelsea could well be too strong for them on the day, whilst Mount has still been the standout Chelsea midfielder this year Havertz is beginning to turn the tables here. Most of the attacking play starts off or finishes with Kai at present so if you are in for Chelsea asset, this is your man.
