A gameweek that was interrupted by EFL Cup and FA Cup fixtures, gameweek 21 finally came to an end. The gameweek started with Man City consolidating their place at the top with a hard-fought 2-1 win over 10-man Arsenal. Fellow title rivals, Chelsea and Liverpool, played out an exciting 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge. Spurs netted an injury-time winner against Watford to keep their top 4 push alive. West Ham took 6 out of 6 points in their DGW to move to 4th place. The first DGW of the season saw an FPL average of 46 points as managers still try to deal with fixture postponements. GW22 sees another DGW with Spurs, Chelsea, Man United, Brighton, Watford and Brentford all playing two fixtures this week, while Leicester and Burnley, who were due to play two games this week too, have seen their fixture against each other postponed.
