GW27 ended with an underwhelming feeling among a lot of managers who used a Free Hit as none of the big hitters returned aside from the Spurs boys. We have another double gameweek deadline and a lot of chips are in play. In this article, we bring you 3 differential players that can help you boost your ranks.
Romain Saiss (Wolves – Defender – £5.0m) vs CRY (H) & WAT (H)
Wolves are sitting 8th in the Premier League table having kept 9 clean sheets in 26 matches this season. They have conceded 21 goals this season and at times have been one of the best defenses. Wolves are ranked 4th for goals conceded this season after Manchester City, Liverpool, and Chelsea.
Saiss has only missed 2 games for Wolves so far this season and is nailed for 180 mins over the doubles. He has 2 goals, 6 bonus, and 9 clean sheets so far. He has been consistently returning points and has the most xG among all Wolves defenders. He is also averaging 3.97 points per match with ownership of just 3.8%, the prospect of attacking returns along with a clean sheet is good.
Ryan Fraser (Newcastle United – Midfielder – £5.3m) vs BHA (H) & SOU (A)
Newcastle seems to have turned their fate around after the January signings. Over the last 6 matches, they have conceded just 3 goals and kept 3 clean sheets. They also have scored 9 goals and are 6th for total shots (97) among all teams.
Ryan Fraser has been making some headlines in the recent weeks having scored 1 goal and 2 assist in the last 4 gameweeks. During this run, he has 8 goal attempts, 6 shots from inside the box and created 9 chances which is the highest among all Newcastle players. Given his price, he is one of the best value picks and a solid player to watch out for. With 0.8% ownership, he is a very good differential.
Che Adams (Southampton – Forward – £7.0m) vs AVL (A) & NEW (H)
The Southampton attacker is playing more freely this season with other players in the team like Broja, Armstong, and Ward-Prowse stepping up their game. So far in 20 appearances (16 starts), Adams has scored 7 goals and provided 3 assists.
So far this season, he has made 35 attempts on goal, 31 from inside the box, and 18 on target. He has also managed to create 17 chances and 4 big chances for his team. He has scored 3 goals and assisted once in his last 4 appearances and is on a hot streaky form. We back Adams to do well against both teams. Current ownership is 6.8%.
*Ownership percentage is as of March 4, 2022, at the time of writing the article.
