The Double Gameweek 28 saw a lot of huge rank swings with massive scores for most of the managers and now we turn the focus on the Double Gameweek 29 where six teams play twice. In this article, we have 3 differential players who you can rely on to help you boost your ranks.
Martin Odegaard (Arsenal – Midfielder – £5.5m) vs LEI (H) & LIV (H)
Odegaard is a sure starter from the Arsenal attack who is almost guaranteed to play 180 minutes over both games. He has scored 5 goals and 3 assists so far this season including a goal in the last match against Watford in gameweek 28.
In 23 appearances (19 starts) he has 28 attempts on goal, 12 shots from inside the box, and 12 shots on target. He has also managed to create 43 chances and 5 big chances for his team. Their opponent, Leicester have conceded the most chances from their left flank and center, where usually Odegaard operates and can have some advantage positionally. He can be the ideal player to double up with Saka, and with an ownership of 4.5%, he can prove to be a solid differential option.
Dejan Kulusevski (Spurs – Midfielder – £6.1m) vs MUN (A) & BHA (A)
Spurs have had quite a turnaround since Kulusevski joined and got the much-needed boost in attack. He has started 4 games and has 2 goals and 3 assists to his name making him the 3rd highest scoring midfielder over the last 3 GWs.
In 6 appearances (4 starts), he has 12 goal attempts,11 shots inside the box, 1 big chance, and 27 penalty area touches. He also created 9 chances and 4 big chances for his team. He plays against Man United and Brighton, both teams that like to play attacking football and thus leaving spaces for players to attack. Brighton have also conceded the second-most goals (9) in the last 5 games. Current ownership is 4.9%.
Richarlison (Everton – Forward – £7.5m) vs WOL (H) & NEW (H)
Everton have been playing pretty badly this season and are sitting at 17th place fighting relegation. However, the Brazilian has shown glimpses of his quality. In 18 appearances (16 starts) this season, he has 4 goals,3 assists, 32 goal attempts, 19 shots inside the box, 6 big chances, and 63 penalty area touches.
His stats are quite poor in comparison to his standards, but Everton plays both of their fixtures at home where they have been better in comparison to away. He also has penalties in his locker, which is quite important too. His ownership is 4.9%
*Ownership percentage is as of March 11, 2022, at the time of writing the article.
