Double Gameweek 33 is almost around the corner with 7 teams having double fixtures. Newcastle and Leicester have the attractive doubles, while the United double will be the popular fixture for Captaincy this week. In this article, we look at 3 differential players, who can help you make massive gains.
Fabian Schar (Newcastle – Defender – £4.4m) vs LEI (H) & CRY (H)
With the win against the Wolves in GW32, Newcastle ended their 3-match losing streak. Since Eddie Howe’s appointment, Schar has missed just 1 game and has 2 goals and 2 assists this season. He also managed to keep 5 clean sheets. In the last 7 GWs, Schar has an impressive 39 FPL points.
Their opponents Leicester and Crystal Palace have conceded 2nd and 4th highest attempts from set-pieces and Schar is a big threat on set pieces and has a decent chance of keeping a clean sheet. With ownership of 4.5%, he can prove to be a solid differential option.
Jadon Sancho (Manchester United – Midfielder – £8.9m) vs NOR (H) & LIV (A)
Sancho hasn’t had the best of the start to his United career as he hoped. However, he has shown glimpses of his quality in the limited games he has under his belt. Their opponents, Norwich are ranked in the bottom half for goals conceded this season.
Sancho has scored 3 goals and 4 assists in 26 appearances (18 starts) this season. He has 22 goal attempts, 8 shots on target, 5 big chances, and 95 penalty area touches. He has also created 38 chances and 5 big chances this season. Sancho can be a great punt to climb ranks. His current ownership is 3.1%.
Che Adams (Southampton – Forward – £6.8m) vs ARS (H) & BUR (A)
The Southampton attacker is playing more freely this season with other players in the team like Stuart Armstong and Ward-Prowse stepping up their game. So far in 25 appearances (21 starts), Adams has scored 7 goals and provided 4 assists.
So far this season, he has made 44 attempts on goal, 39 from inside the box, and 22 on target. He has also managed to create 21 chances and 6 big chances for his team. We back Adams to do well in this double. Current ownership is 5.2%.
