The final international break of the season is over and we have just eight GWs left to play. Still, a lot of doubles to come and quite a lot of chips still in play. The deadline is close and in this article, we bring you 3 differential players that can help you boost your ranks.
Jadon Sancho (Manchester United – Midfielder – £8.9m) vs LEI (H)
Sancho hasn’t had the best start to his United career as he hoped. However, he has shown glimpses of his quality in the limited games he has under his belt. Their opponents, Leicester are ranked in the bottom half for goals conceded this season.
Sancho has scored 3 goals and 4 assists in 24 appearances (16 starts) this season. He has 21 goal attempts, 8 shots on target, 5 big chances and 85 penalty area touches. He has also created 33 chances and 5 big chances this season. Sancho can be a great punt to climb ranks. His current ownership is 2.8%.
Raheem Sterling (Manchester City – Midfielder – £10.7m) vs SOU (A)
This season, Sterling has been in and out of Pep’s starting eleven most weeks and hasn’t started in the last two games. With the Champions League around the corner, Pep might need to rotate his squad against Burnley which historically has featured a lot of goals.
This season, he has scored 10 goals and provided 3 assists and has 45 attempts on goal, 37 from inside the box, and 24 on target. He has also managed to create 30 chances and 4 big chances. With no obvious captaincy pick this week, Sterling could be a nice cheeky differential captain too. Current ownership is 2.4%.
Richarlison (Everton – Forward – £7.4m) vs CRY (A)
Richarlison has missed a lot of games due to injuries this season, however, the Brazilian has shown glimpses of his quality in the limited game-time he has under his belt at Everton. In 20 appearances (18 starts) this season, he has 4 goals,3 assists, 35 goal attempts, 21 shots inside the box, 6 big chances, and 69 penalty area touches.
Crystal Palace has improved a lot defensively in recent weeks, however, Everton have been improving under Gerrard. Richarlison also has penalties in his locker, which is quite important too. His ownership is 5.6%.
*Ownership percentage is as of April 1, 2022, at the time of writing the article.
