We are now closer to the end of the season with just 3 more gameweeks left. It’s the biggest double gameweek of the season where 12 teams have a double fixture in GW36. The deadline is close and the best possible way to climb ranks at the end of the season is to back some differential players thus, in this article, we bring you 3 differential players that can help you boost your ranks.
Anthony Gordon (Everton – Midfielder – £4.6m) vs LEI (A) & WAT (A)
Everton have been struggling this season and thus, finds themselves in a relegation battle for the first time in history. However, the only bright spark for Everton this season has been Anthony Gordon. He has been phenomenal for Everton this season.
So far in 30 appearances (21 starts) this season, he has scored 4 goals and provided 3 assists. He also created 28 chances and 4 big chances for his team and managed 23 shots from inside the box. Given his price, the prospect of him playing in an advanced role against a leaky Leicester and Watford side makes him a very good prospect. Current ownership is 4.2%.
Luis Diaz (Liverpool – Midfielder – £8.0m) vs TOT (H) & AVL (A)
Luis Diaz has been the Premier League signing of the season so far. He has been sensational for Liverpool and contributed 3 goals and 2 assists in 10 appearances (8 starts) including a goal and an assist against Man United in GW33.
With the title on the line, Liverpool can’t afford any slip-ups in the league and thus, Luis Diaz could be an excellent pick and should play over 110-130 minutes in both fixtures. Diaz has the highest upside among all players in GW36 and could be a nice differential punt. Current ownership is 3.7%.
Edward Nketiah (Arsenal – Forward – £5.6m) vs LEE (H) & TOT (A)
Nketiah has been flying in the FPL community since his brace against Chelsea in GW33. In the last 4 GWs, he has been among the best performers in the league. In this short run, he has 2 goals, 8 shots inside the box, 7 shots on target, and 4 chances created for his team.
Arsenal play against Leeds and Tottenham this week, both fixtures which could include a lot of goals. The match against Tottenham is also the derby match and will be crucial for the top 4 race. Tottenham would need to come out and go for a win and Nketiah can really benefit from this situation. His ownership is 5.8%
*Ownership percentage is as of May 6, 2022, at the time of writing the article.
